Joseph has taken to helping himself when it comes to snacks.  Usually the conversation goes something like this: 

"Can I have a grahm cracker?"
"No, you've already had several today."
"Puh-leeeese?"
"No, Joseph."
"Fine, I'll get it myself!"

(He then stomps into the kitchen.  I am sitting in the living room nursing Charlie, offering various threats against his act.  Then comes the sound of cabinet doors opening and packages rustling.)

"Joseph?"
(muffled) "What?"
"What are you eating?"
"Peanuts!"  (and sure enough he emerges from the kitchen with a small dish of pecans or almonds.)  "I was just teasing you about the grahm crackers!  Amn't I so funny?"
